This page will show you the scenes I saw outside my window. It may look depressing and dirty, and I suppose it all is, but I found it incredibly interesting. I probably wouldn't have felt that way if I hadn't seen it before (in Beijing). For some people on the tour the culture shock was disturbing. But like I said, I'd seen such poverty before and it didn't bother me. In fact I would have enjoyed renting a driver and simply driving the length of India, staring out the window.

 

 

 

A scene like this you'd assume was just a bunch of junk. But it's a food stand.

 

Watch out for pigs.

Amid all the dirt and grime there will be splotches of color in the form of bright blue buildings.
